In my workings with clients, I'm often asked for a referral to another professional that can help my clients solve a problem or help them with something complex or just out of their scope.  I have a "policy" of trying to give them three referrals to trusted professionals because, let's face it, we all have different personalities and sometimes we connect with one person more deeply than with another.  My suggestion is to interview at LEAST three professionals prior to making a decision to work with them.
